Man to DXB last Friday night
I had a first last Friday night with EK when on the evening flight when the ground power was disconnected before the A/C power was up. Total black out on board and 45min delay before all systems back up. It was a first for me and the re boot time surprised me a little. Italian skipper also obviously not impressed as we had a quick take off and fast trip to DXB, be interested to know who picks up the tab for fuel etc.

Well no response from anyone, guess will have to ask EK next time I am with them. Incidentally had a sporty landing this lunchtime with much pitch and roll with them but captain did a very good job in my honest opinion, earned a glass as they say. I am glad I was not on this evenings arrival as that maybe worse as wind appears to have increased.
