Equipment tpe please monarch
Hiya all.
Flying man/ace on 01/07 return 15/07 flight numbers are zb546/zb547.
What type is it ?
I have checked seat guru & think its A330-200.
Need help urgent,as i am about to check in online,& hubby is 6ft 2,he'll kill me if i get it wrong.
We have paid for xtra legroom,& had chosen 30A & 30B,but now not so sure of choice.was thinking of altering to 30 A & C to leave middle seat free & take chances that we may have 3 seats, but i feel it's risky.
maybe we would be better just choosing 2 seats together near the front.
Thanks.

Personally I would have opted for seats 30B & 30C as there may be a slight obstruction to leg room at 30A due to door mechanism.
I note the first 8 rows are extra legroom seats. When did they re-configure the A300 aircraft as I flew on one last year in the 361 seat configuration.

The front cabin are all economy seats on the AB6 with standard seat pitch (29"). The premium cabin on the A332's are sold as extra legroom seats on short / mid haul (34").

Yes, just done a dummy booking. The seat plan shows the first 8 rows as extra legroom seats which would indicate an A330 aircraft as to the best of my knowledge, the A300 fleet do not have extra legroom seats except at the doors.
However, last Thursdays flight was operated by A300 G-MONR and departed at 09.57.

The seating layout for ZB546/7 on the 1st/15th July is definately an A330. The extra legroom cabin at the front of the aircraft is in 2-4-2 layout with the rest of the aircraft in 3-3-3 layout.
The seat layout for the A300 fleet is 3-3-3 throughout the aircraft except where the aircraft narrows at the rear.

This might help, l believe Thursday is maintenance day for the wide body a/c fleet at Manchester.
Depending on what week you are flying the a/c might be a A300 or a A330.
All A300 are in the 361 seat config and do not have the extra leg room rows.

Thank you all so much for your help.
I've selected 3 A & B,instead of row 30 i'd originally blocked, (although i'd selected this previously on advice from crew).
It also looks like we will be in the quieter (hopefully) section of the cabin.
Looking at the seat guru, along with the monarch plan,i'd sussed it was probably the 330.
At least i won't get my earhole bent now ..lol !!!
