Napkins
Hello Guys
just back home from Barcelona.
I used two BA flights from/to LHR, Euro Traveller cabin.
I was quite surprised to notice that no napkins were provided during the inflight service.
I have not been flying BA for a year (or perhaps more), but I remember they were supplying you with napkins and a refreshing towel.
Perhaps I am wrong but I found it "strange".
Aparts from this, both flights were very good.

I used the back of my hand, but this did not solve the problem.
After a few attempts (back, front, side, finger, etc) I realized the reason why napkins have been invented.
Perhaps I should improve my cleaning technique. I am ready to learn from you.
By the way, I was not complaining.

A refreshing towel? Not on short haul Y for a long time now. They have also gone in lh-Y, as far as I know as I don't use BA for lh in Y. If you ask about hot towels in World Traveller Plus - then I can only refer you to the first of the long BA strike threads in this forum!

Thanks PaxBoy.
No, I was not referring to hot towels. They are another story.
However they are available on lh by AF and KL.
Let us back on shor haul economy.
So far the situation seems to be the following:

So far the situation seems to be the following:
- Air France (including CityJet, Regional and Brit Air) provides napkins. Refreshing towels available for free pick at the entrance of the airplane
- Alitalia, provides napkins, refreshing towel and a gel to clean your hands
- British Airways, nothing
- KLM and KLM Cityhopper, Napkins
- Lufthansa, Napkins
- Lufthansa Regional (Ausburg Airways and Air Dolomiti), Napkins and Refreshing Towel
- SAS, nothing (well there is no free inflight service anyway)
- Swiss, Napkins and Refreshing Towel

Shining Example, apparently...

Well, this is JB
For meaningful comparison, we'll need the dimensions of the napkins referred to, and perhaps comparative shear strength, absorption, etc. And what of towels that are not very refreshing?
