Not good news from Test flight to sample dust
Scientists from the National Environment and Research Council in Gloucestershire are using a special aircraft to assess the cloud of volcanic dust from Iceland.
Dr Guy Gratton said the team will advise the Met Office of their findings.

I note that many of the "experts" on the main thread do not agree and want to fly in this muck.
The dust is at much lower levels
