Probably better for him he did that kind of sh1t on this side of the Atlantic. . . . although he will still be in deep doodoo. Where do these nutters come from ?
I will be very surprised if they find anything, other than that the individual is a 1st class basket-case.

Emergency landing after bomb claim - UK & Ireland, Breaking News - Belfasttelegraph.co.uk

What causes folk to make claims like this?
They must realise that they will be 'found out' and arrested and charged.
If they don't want to fly, then just don't take the flight FFS!

The flight was about two hours into its journey and around 210 nautical miles north west of Shannon when the request to land was received.

The plane had just left Irish airspace.
If the comments were made after the plane left Irish Airspace, then a good lawyer will argue that the Irish courts don't have jurisdiction.

No need for Irish jurisdiction, he equals an undesirable person, and returned to the waiting arms of Dutch authorities who will deal with him, subject of course to his "hooman rites"

Arkefly B767 diversion in Shannon 13th Jan 10

An aircraft that was forced to make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport because of an unruly passenger has now been grounded at Shannon after gardaí decided to carry out a search of the plane.
It is understood the captain requested permission to land after a male passenger became difficult.
The Boeing 767 aircraft with 231 passengers and 11 crew on board was chartered by ArkeFly, which is the Dutch arm of TUI.

It was bringing passengers from Amsterdam to the Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean.
The 44-year-old Dutch national was arrested by gardaí and airport police and is being questioned at Shannon Garda Station.
Gardaí have now taken the decision to carry out a complete search of the hold of the aircraft, as well as searching and questioning passengers.
The aircraft has been parked remotely at Shannon to allow for its flight time to expire.
A replacement aircraft has been sent from Amsterdam to take the stranded passengers to the Carribean.
The new plane arrived in Shannon at 5pm and is expected to resume its journey to Aruba this evening.
