Advice or tips FRA-IAD-MCO

Family and I are travelling with United in Feb from Frankfurt via Washington to Orlando. Having not done the trip before I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice on the process we will go through arriving and transitting through Washington.

We have a 2.5 hour lay over in IAD, travelling in business I guess we can go to the United lounge there?

Any tips appreciated.

Oz.

Arrive, go through immigration, collect bags, go through customs, exit into the landside concourse. Find check in. Check in, go through security, determine gate location, find UA Red Carpet Lounge. On 2nd thoughts, if you're unlucky it will be check in, scramble through security, run to gate.

Last time I went through IAD as an arriving passenger it was on BA so I don't know where a UA/LH flight will park but we had to get on a mobile lounge (very big bus on stilts) to get from the aircraft to immigration - being in business you should be on the 1st bus if that operation applies to you.
