Jet2 - Flights from LBA via MAN?

Is it common for Jet2 flights from Leeds to stop off at Manchester and collect additional passengers? I have a number of friends where this has happened in recent weeks and just realised that my own flight to Chambery in April is flying from LBA via Manchester!

In a word - no.

To put a bit more meat into the answer, it's basically down to low load factors on the ski flights, some go from MAN via LBA, and some are going from LBA via MAN. The flights are being combined to try to save some costs I would presume, and are therefore allowing the flights to go ahead rather than being pulled which wouldn't suit those that have booked. It's not ideal, but at least you're getting there, if a little later than originally booked, and you're getting an extra flight for nowt.
