Personal flights, without our partners - do we tell them we're not flying economy...
I know four regular travellers, including me. We're all airmiled-up and senior enough to have spare cash in the bank account.
To the best of my knowledge we always tell the partners we're flying economy when we jet off on a long-haul beer trip, and, to the best of my knowledge, we always fly C/D/F..
Is it just my friends or do people on this site also all pretend to fly economy to their partners?

Partners as in significant others, or partners as in the business? 
I don't hide anything... if I upgrade or get upgraded, I don't see why I should hide it from my other half.

Huh? When I was married, my wife was delighted for me when I travelled in a big seat and commiserated when the company or client would not pay. Like travelling to HKG three times in a year in Y. Them's the breaks.
If you are telling your life partner that you are in Y when you are not - she will find out, or already know. If you tell your biz partners - they will find out through office paperwork, or already know.

Problem is in doing something like that, and they find out, then there must be a good chance that they start asking what else have you been economical with the truth about? Even though there may be nothing, will they believe you?
I do one solo long haul back to Europe every year as I get much more annual leave than mrs Rush and always go Business: she ain't vastly happy about the cost, but she's OK with it. No point in hiding it, she can see when they pour me off the plane at Changi I wasn't up the back LOL!

My partner is extremely pleased that I get to fly J class most of the time. In fact on the few occasions I have to fly Y she's absolutely horrified, though this has nothing to do with her concern for my comfort but more to do with the fact she'll have less airmiles to play with....

Rush2112................you are absolutely right - if the husband/s are caught out in a lie over a relatively unimportant thing like class of travel their partners are going to be immediately suspicious about what else they are lying about..........Mr Quite Happy if you and your friends want to remain "Quite Happy" I think the truth is a good place to start
