Talking Has Emirates Lost Its Way ?

I note with amusement the half page ad in the business section of the Gulf News today whereby Emirates Airlines is marking the start of its service to SAU PAULO, Brazil. However the picture is that of a stunning limestone island in PALAU.!
Palau is in Micronesia, approximately 1000kms east of the Philippines, & several thousand kms from Brazil.
Perhaps EK are trying to indicate this is their next destination? Or maybe they couldn’t find any nice pix of Sau Paulo to put into their ad?
Did the corporate communications group get it wrong in translation & pick the wrong image off ‘Google’? ‘Sau Paulo’ may have sounded like ‘Palau’ to the creative ‘bods’ in the ad agency!
However no excuse for Mike Simon, Head of Corporate Communications, and his team should have checked out the proofs before they went to press!
At least the Emirates pilots know their direction even if the EK management does not!
As they say on Emirates ‘Keep Discovering’!
