yes, have done it. upgrade depends on funds available and if you are happy to sit in economy for 11 hours. i have been OK with economy on VS, and as im paying for the ticket i want the cheapest available fare.

if you win at the casinos (yeh right) you can always upgrade for the overnight flight back.

i like mccarran, its close to the strip, and the view of the airfield and the hotels on the strip from the departure lounge must be one of the best around.

Mrs cru doing it next month

As eco +, on ff points.

But tried to UG to Front row, but told not possible.

She uses VS often, and loves the service.

I am going AA business, and First, almost same number of equivalent points.

However I have just been given a 5 hrs stop over in DFW on way out.

Score: advantage VS. New balls please.

Fortunate enought to fly up front. But wandering around the back, lets say the Pax were a little boisterous, apparently the norm on that routing according to CC so well worth moving forward.

On the LGW 747's there's a small economy cabin (about 4 rows) just behind the premium cabin in front of doors 2. It remained nice and quiet, had first choice of the meals and plenty of room in the cross aisle at doors 2 to stretch your legs. And it's far enough away from the nearest loos (at doors 3) to avoid people marching up and down the aisle banging into you. (and as long as the jetty is at doors 2, you're one of the first off)
