Question FlyBe @ Alicante

On a similar thread to that referring to Monarch at Malaga.

Above the check-in desk there are large signs showing the UK approved size (35*45*16) for hand luggage - they look pretty new and permenant.

I was a bit miffed because I had had previous information that inbound flights from ALC to BHX were unrestricted up to the old original dimensions.

However the nice guy at checkin simply ignored it and said that as long as it (my normal drag along flight case) fitted the FlyBe frame by the checkin I was fine.

No worries then - but the sign is a bit confusing. Can anyone that works at ALC or for FlyBe please clarify ?
