VS003 and VS046 Aircraft Type
Hi,
I am travelling to JFK from LHR with Virgin in November. I am flying on VS003 on Saturday 18/11/2006 and VS046 on Monday 20/11/2006. Obviously, these flights are a very long way off but does anybody roughly know which a/c type should be operating the flights?
Thanks for your help!

Should be the 747-400 both ways, the VS046 is the one that sometimes becomes an A340-600.
As ever this could change due operational requirements.
The 747 should be 44J/32W/310Y config with on demand audio visual.
Enjoy.

Hi,
Thanks for your very quick response. Both aircraft are new types for me so if I get to fly on both, that would be great!
I know this is a stupid question but any recommendations on where to sit?
Thanks

v-flyer.com also has good seat maps with recommendations, and a aircraft type "predictor" which gives you a good idea of what plane/entertainment system etc you are likely to get, based on historical data
