Orlando - Edinburgh?

Hi, hope this should be here (if anywhere)..

Good friend (US Citizen) wants to travel from Orlando, Florida to Edinburgh on May 9th for a week.

Any suggestions for a US originating flight?

Three leg through Atlanta? Two leg through LGW?

Anything through the NorthEast? New York/Boston/whatever?

Hi,

How about CO ( Continental ) to NewarK (EWR) then the non stop flight to EDI ( I think it is daily).

There are also flights from EWR to Glasgow on Continental.

Regards

TBS

Thanks for that, TBS (was almost 'BS' till I thought a bit deeper).

Trouble is, I was only given half the story. Seems they already have tickets into LHR, arriving around 7am on the 10th, and just need the "overall best" - need not be quickest, need not be most expensive/cheapest - method of getting to Edinburgh.

They'll be coming back down again on May 15th for their morning of the 16th flights back to the Mouse House (Orlando).

Last time I was there, there was a company called "British Rail" - I'm a bit out of touch.

This fare cannot be purchased outside of the UK. The same flights cost GBP18 more if bought in America.

The E indicates that an e-ticket can be issued. Perhaps they can phone or get you to do it.

Your problem is that Sunday return which is rather full in the lowest discount classes.

A one day seminar at the Ministry of Planes and a bit of shopping in Tesco (and maybe a minibash in the hotel).

Two days should suffice - then back to the hurricanes.

I've going to have to check the dates though - seems too close to the weekend for the CAA to run a seminar.
