LTU airline

I'm thinking of flying to Namibia with LTU ex MUC in their 'First Comfort' class.
Has anyone flown with LTU long haul in this or economy class.
Any info would appreciated.

Seat pitch is about 40 inches, which isn't all that brilliant once the seat in front is reclined. Service is OK. I suggest you go to the TRIP REPORTS forum at !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and do a search for LTU.

We flew (5 of us) summer 2002 to CapeTown from Dusseldorf with LTU in First Comfort Class and believe that it is better than Lufthansa Business (done that many times) . The cabin is smaller (18 pax) and the food better. I have last week just booked again Dusseldorf to Los Angeles in First Comfort for next July..... fare wise a good deal , cheaper than Lufthansa's lowest Business fare. I will continue to use them when retired in the UK 5 or so years from now . BA to DUS and onward with LTU ( The Sheraton Dusseldorf Airport is also handy for an early departure)

Thanks.
I think I'll try them. At least it's a short Easyjet to MUC then non-stop to WDH.
Cheers

Do take care to give yourself ample time for the connection. In the event of a delayed/cancelled flight neither carrier will accept responsibility for a missed connection. The outcome could increase your costs substantially.

I flew LTU comfort 1st a couple of years ago. There was only 3 of us, seats very comfy and service was very good. Enjoy.
