I am on my way back to London on QF 31 744(VH-OJS) am am stuck in SIN awaiting a part to be positioned from HKG. Am unsure as to wahta defect is as yet, but have seen aircrew checking nose landing gear. they claim to be waiting for this part because of incompatavility with SIA 744's possibly engines being that OJS is RR powered and all of SIA's are p&w equipped. Will atempt to find out more from aircrew and will post results from london when I get there. Not expecting to arrive to early as the part will take 4hrs to get here, by which time the crew will be out of hours. ETA around midday GMT, Anyone with anymore info?
