Hey Dave,

I was told it was not that serious in the wing department and a simple repair. The prop is not so lucky, repair with a new one.

Apparently the old C206 was punted a full 90 degrees so it was a decent whack!:ouch:

This one will test you out!

OK, here's a really tricky one that I took during my wanderings (whole other story!) yesterday.

Half marks for the general area.

Full marks for the Lat/Long - the reason for this requirement will be revealed!

Apologies for the picture quality, but da bruddas have lit up the country - now there's a bit of a hint.

A lake with water in it! That rules out Victoria. I'm betting the gulf country south of Normanton.

No, nowhere near Normanton.

That certainly narrows it down.

haughtney1 6th Sep 2007 15:04

Its the only place I remember to take the bloody camera :\

but there are worse places to stop for 30 hours than mid town Manhatten :E

ForkTailedDrKiller 6th Sep 2007 15:09

"but that photo isnt of Lake Gregory (Bililuna) is it "

capt - no its not. You're in the right general area though.

The thing that I find interesting about this lake is that - it does NOT appear on the WAC chart!

How can this be - in 2007?

It is a clearly naturally occurring lake. Probably pre-dates black fella time, but isn't on the WAC chart.

Dr

PS: I'm gunna claim naming rights - Lake Forktail Doctor Killer (19o 08' S; 131o 41' E) !
