Slight crosswind incompetence made me off centre :ugh:
Wasn't a bumpy landing, someone just liked playing with the focus... heh

Wiz of Aus, I take it that you weren't driving the C208 in that Pic or it's old as it's been owned by the same operator for near 5 years now? Or you were driving it on cross-hire in WA possibly last year....

Capt. Cynical - it's a SkyArrow down south of Moorabbin. Only 2 in the country. 80hp Rotax pushing it along at 85 knots!

Warm Ballast 11th Jan 2009 21:14

The last one is Koolan Island.....

Flying Meat Cleaver 11th Jan 2009 21:38

Wiz, 1) Koolan Island, 2) and 3) no idea, 4) Looks to be possibly over point Torment. 5) Mitchell Plateau maybe, 6) More cloud, 7) Koolan Island again!

FMC.

XXX.I cross hired it to do my CP approval last year.
FMC. you got em all (well the ones you can) 5 is running for the 10mile final point. runway is on the other side of that TS. one of the almost unidentifiable ones is TOD into Ellendale. You have obviously worked up there.......... for the same operator?

PF, the underside of something that needs cleaning? Ah, I remember the days of cleaning (or rather trying to clean) TK's machines. What would start out as a half an hour's work would turn into an all day event!

Not to sure on when but it's over the northern suburbs of Perth, near Hillarys Boat Harbour.

Didja get paid for it Desert Flower?:E

And what's the latest on the fuel situation?

Desert Flower 18th Jan 2009 10:10

Didja get paid for it Desert Flower?
Not in a monetary sense, but there were a few perks that came my way as a result.

And what's the latest on the fuel situation?
The jury's still out unfortunately, & I'm still fielding phone calls from people.

That'd be right, the Port Disgusting pilots were required to wash and polish their own planes. Guess that didn't apply to the Adelaide based pilots.

j3pipercub 19th Jan 2009 23:42

HA!!! CRN, that old thing was the 9th van in my logbook, now up to 13. From memory she was pretty tired though...

VH-XXX 20th Jan 2009 00:02

CRN is going strong still, down in Melbourne. It's far from tired!
