Somerset Dam - I win!

Dr :8

morno 24th Feb 2008 09:20

OpsNormal, you mustn't have flown that MA-NTN track very often, that's not wide enough to be Lake Julius, :ok:.

I'm gonna go with the Doctor, Somerset Dam.

Title - Terrorism Gone Wrong.

This is not a mock-up, just poor quality as it's from a surveilance cam.

Can't recall what actually happened, from memory the pilot used a bit much rudder/nose wheel and hit the wing on the ground.

Where/why is that CX tripler doing the low pass? Nice shot.

Dixons Cider 25th Feb 2008 04:23

Ahh, i was wondering how over the last 24 hours Wivenhoe had managed to gain some altitude and Somerset had gotten closer to MSL. All explained. :D I would've guessed Somerset as well before i read your answer jaba.

Jaba, morno et al...

I have a confession. That last post of Ops Normal's wasn't him. I just couldn't be bothered logging him out and me in. And as soon as I posted it, I took another look at the photo of Lake Julius on my phone (morno has seen this flick) went 'ahh bugger, wrong.' I just couldn't be bothered deleting the post after that. :O :O :O

Who says front wheel drive cars can't get to Lake Julius... :\
