Perth Prangs, whats the goss.
I caught a quick glimpse of a Glassair doing a wheels up in YPJT last night on the news and then this morning whilst looking to see it again and watch the whole event, there are reports of a seven seater crashing at YPPH................ Whats the goss? everyone get out safe? what caused it? whos was it?
I heard on the news that a 2 seater aircraft had crashed at Perth. I believe no injuries. But you know how the media can get things screwed up!!

Was at the airport and saw the whole thing.
Homebuilt (not sure what type) had some sort of hydraulic failure. Only 1 main and nose gear came down. It circled for a while as the fire boys got in place. When it touched down, it appeared that the gear colasped and then it stopped pretty quickly. (the marks are still on the rwy) The aircraft ended up on the right side of 24R pointing at the grass.
Pilot did a great job getting the aircraft on the ground and then getting himself and the pax out.

It was goss on the other accident in PH I was interested in. I havnt heard anything from the news papers or tele news since I saw it the first time on the idjut box.
