Agree, Exotic.

However I think alot of it happens in this website by people not reading the posts correctly and thinking it"s a dig when it just isn't

Thanks ladies for all the encouragement, we all need to stick together.

Aviation can be dominated by females, all we need to do is use our brains wisely.

Best of luck

Exotic Temptress; Spot on!!

Why can't more people think like this?

You only live twice. Once when
you're born. Once when
you've looked death in the face

Morals

In my short and humble stint in G.A. I would consider that I have been cut-off or backstabbed (although not particularly badly). Maybe due to this, or in spite of it, I can honestly say that faced with an opportunity to advance, by mistreating a colleage, I would rather stay where I am and keep my self respect. I hope if ever put to this test I do not let myself down.

Counter- Rotation well said, I have had many negative things said about me in the past as well.

Females and aviation seem to evoke fear in males.

I'm not going to inflict the pain and discomfort I had to endure during my 16 long long months in General Aviation on anyone else.

I'll leave it at that.

Cheers

GG

Firstly congrats on get into VB you are the envy of most

Secondly if your doing the ETA course in Melbourne say G'Day to John L.

Thirdly the quote you made
quote: Females and aviation seem to evoke fear in males.

Rubbish. Some female pilots I have seen blow their male couterparts out the water but to say that men fear the challenge of female pilots is not just arrogant but insulting. Ok you have made it into VB and for that I say again well done but down run down a FELLOW professional simply becuase they have a dick. I bet you sit around and sing "I am women" to yourself...

Just reading through some of Geisha Girls B.S. and it is pretty obvious that she (or he) does not actually have a start with Virgin.

Probably never will I would suggest.

Thumbs down

As posted elsewhere by yours truly....

The reason that pilots bitch so much is it stops them actually looking at the source of THEIR problem...THEM

Life isn't fair(edited for length)

Unhappy This makes the love monkey sad

Christ almighty. For a group of punters living the dream of many (see wannabees section) there is an awful amount of angst amongst the contributors to this column. Take a holiday, do yoga, do some f***ing thing. RELAX. Go visit the local cancer ward if you need to make yourselves appreciate how lucky you are. I wonder if you do this much wanking when you surf porn. On the other hand you could continue whingeing about how bad you got it.....

Stuff this. I'm off to drop some prick that sucked up to the boss today.

Wholeheartedly agree...

Too many precious egos floating around aviation.......

1. Big egos

2. Big expectations

3. Precious kids

4. Disappointment and bitching

As LM said do yoga tour a cancer ward, try living (as SJ said) in the poverty that most of the world wakes up to everyday!

Sheesh

If you think pilots whinge, try cabin crew in the airlines mate, the more they get paid the more they whinge. A bigger load of premaddonas l have yet to meet, and after all what are they? Platelayers thats what!.
When l was becoming a flying instructor the trainer warned me about becoming an airline pilot .You will be moaning until kingdom come and he was right it was infectious. However, whenever l start l always remember floggig away on the bank run between thangool and longreach in a mooney all those years ago and realise it was a hell of a lot of fun!
