I think the 24th of August would be more appropriate.

And the theme for this party is 'people who should not be mentioned in polite company'.

Kaptin M

Thanks, and btw the om got quite a kick. For the record he reckoned you were one of the really, really (and after a pause, 'and I mean one of the best')
really good pilots to fly with.

Who's Amos?

Thanks for the re-intro, Spotlight - and the wrap...but it's not true unfortunately Much appreciated after all this time.

Amos - well maybe we'll all find out on August 15.

Thumbs up

Assuming that "all AN" means those of us other than aircrew, I'll be there. I look forward to meeting Kaptin M again, we haven't met since his departure from AN, unlike amos2. I'll be happy to buy you both a beer!!!

Kind regards,

TheNightOwl.

Truly and unutterably sad.

As soon as I saw the topic started, I thought, "here we go". And when I saw amos's name I couldn't help myself, I just had to un-ignore him for once to see whether he had a shred of human decency, though the odds were always long.

In their dreams, Amos? Yep, there are unemployed people everywhere just dying to meet you.

D&G has sadly become a farce, and I am now leaving it to the skygods. I tried to post only when I had at least some knowledge of the subject concerned, but I now bid the better posters farewell.

Feel free to abuse my attitude, I may even look in to read the abuse. But I've now made my last post on D&G (please don't cry) and it's almost a weight off my shoulders.

Carry on with the embarrassing Aussie defensiveness, people. I'll leave you to it.

Well Binoculars it is pretty sad to see an icon like AN go down, BUT don't forget those of us THAT saw the cliff coming, got of the bus and all THE GREEDY IDIOTS that got on it and took it over the cliff!

I'm with you Bino's.

Talk about a red rag to a bull posting anything about Ansett. Seems to be quickest way to wake up the sleeping petulance and spite from a bunch of quitters (well resigners anyway).

Anyway I won't be able to attend, I'm too busy getting on with the rest of my life (like most sensible people)

......no chance . I would rather pick my nose and watch my toenails grow. Frankly, it would be more stimulating. Than enduring a bunch of over the hill unemployed has beens, nauseating me with their trolling reminisance of a very (below)average past... Plus I would only present myself in Melbourne in winter for very good coin...By very good, I mean outta your league, uncle sam, tax free..
Now, if Virgin were havin a party, I would consider....(candy factor)...
