404, I don’t have any desire or see any benefit in seeding any children. If I wanted a feel good plaything, I would buy a puppy dog or save one of the 30 thousand kids that die everyday of malnutrition and disease. FYI, all jets certified up at high levels, contain radiation protection properties in the windshields, you recieve no more than you probably get sitting in front of your computer screen or going to the beach.
I have been disappointed to date with the lack of even marginally constructive comment from the Kaptin. It is fairly evident he really outdid himself stating he had ONLY 9 ATPLs, and hasn’t since been able to recover any small amount of credibility he might have once hoped for. He will be remembered for one thing, spending a lot of time customizing his font…

Thats excelent Winstun re your comments on not seeding any Junior Winstuns - think there's a whole load of people resting a little easier now.

Your a class one wind up merchant. Didn't you have any one to play with when you were growing up?

I must add my bit....GOOD JOB Winstun!! This is the best wind-up ive seen for a long time. You had me convinced you were a twit until "I do in fact have several astronaut aquaintences."

Keep up the good work, im sure you still have a few convinced!

"Not aware of any pilots that get higher than me (at FL510) in subsonic civilian jets."

Who's said anything about limiting the scope of the discussion to "subsonic civilian jets"? Here I was thinking that you were a legend, now it's starting to come out that you are only a legend within a certain very limited scope. I am so disappointed.

And anyway, what's an "aquaintence"?

"I do in fact have several astronaut aquaintences..."

Is that someone you met underwater? (perhaps just after birth, while the doctor was holding your head under? )

Pilot
Lawyer
Ass-assin
Doctor (proctologist???)
Financial Adviser
Linguist

And now...
Fighter pilot (if I read between the lines correctly) and
Ass-tronaut

I just knew there was more to come.

Prediction:
Winstun will soon reveal his dabblings in nuclear physics and admit to a previous life as a monk and having once designed his own rocket ship.

As a bit of cryptic crossword fan, I was attempting to see whether “Winstun” bore any similarities with what I suspect is the man’s real name…

So let’s give it a try. ‘W’… yup. ‘a’, nope… ‘l’, nope… ‘I’… yup. ‘t’, yep. Here it is in full.

Walter Mitty.

Hmmmm, four letters out of eight – that’s 50%. I think we’ll have to take that as a ‘yes’.

So Wal… sorry, Winstun, I’ve always been very interested in those reeely high-flying corporate jets. The people who fly them usually work for the captains of industry (or should that be ‘The Captains of Industry’?). I’d be really interested to know which corporate chief employs you as his personal driver/airframe. The boss of HIH perhaps? Or the previous boss of AMP?

Seriously though, mate. You’ve been a breath of fresh, (if very high altitude), air – the best laugh I’ve had here in quite a while.

Lets get the facts straight, lots of incorrect assumptions here. Never have claimed to be a Lawyer, although I have studied law and assisted lawyers in delicate negotiations. Assasin. Sound like a parrot, but is termination of a murderer in self defensive rage an assasin? No. Doctor? No, although I have already mentioned my medical experience in war zones using books. (I recommend the ABC series paperbacks, lightweight for field operations). Financial Adiviser? No. Although I am suprised how many of my countrymen are content to take it up the ass from the ATO. Linguist? No. Speaking several languages is common in many of my circles, I understand the average Aussie is lacking here due to geographical position. Fighter Pilot? No. Although I have gone up in a few types (privately owned) and had a play. Astronaut? No. As I said, I have astronaut collegues and plan to pax to space within the next 10-20 years. Nuclear physics? Yes, I have done some study in this area studying my university degrees. Design my own rocket ship? No, but I have provided some inputs and consultation to some x prize competitors. Now that we have that clear, perhaps you could direct some of your jokes and questioning towards the Kaptin and his ONLY 9 ATPLs.

Winstun, why don't you just post your resume ??, if you are to suggest that doing so would be allowing everyone else to win would be quite incorrect as your thus far continual responses to what you see as ridiculous has in some way already done this.

in all due respect, put up or shut up.

"Rumour" has it that he/she tried to post their resume but Danny choked at the severe bandwidth it chewed up.

I have stated this on another topic and repeat here. A resume should ALWAYS be only 1 page. No matter length of or distinguished career. I personally know of a few fortune 500 CEOs and they ALL have 1 page resume, anything more is frankly boring. My extensive pilot qualifications and experience all fit on 1 page. If I plan to conduct work in a different field, I taylor make the 1 page resume according to relative skills and recipient requirements. LHR, do not understand your last banter, but I am not here to discuss details of my qualifications and attributes. Mon reason d'etre ici est: to educate you all in some small way.... I have only ever refered to my qualifications in the context of correcting the many false, and frankly, ignorant assumptions that have been made here. I realize I am a tall poppy, but now I think we have all had enough discussing me. Now that Kaptin has come up with an ATP rethink / recount, perhaps we can discuss the important topics at hand for the betterment of our futures. Merci.

as stands you certainly have zero credibility, if it is infact a wind up, good job, but certainly having read your crap justifies why lawyers tell pilot jokes at the pub.

All due respects to Kaptin M, but Winstun's spelling is far too good to be Slasher (No disrespect to you either Slasher).

Whoever you are Winstun, you are welcome to come fishing with me ANY DAY !!!
