"Welcome onboard microlight airlines flight one to the coast and back. Our flight time today is approximately forty minutes and we'll be landing where we took off, where the weather is very much like it is right now, only later.

We'll be starting the engine soon and then we'll taxy to the runway...that's the big black bit where all the other aircraft are going. After takeoff we'll be climbing to one thousand feet, turning right and flying towards the coast where we will climb to our cruising height of two thousand feet at a speed of 38 knots.

For takeoff and throughout the flight we'd ask you to ensure all loose objects are securely stowed as anything that gets loose tends to go through the propeller. For this reason we suggest you remain seated and strapped in at all times.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments are available in the hangar after the flight. The pilot takes milk and two sugars.

Should you experience any discomfort in your ears as we climb or descend, yawning can bring relief. If you follow-through on the yawn then you can clean it up after we land.

Well, that's about it for the serious side of the flight today folks, now just sit back, enjoy the scenery and remember, if you're enjoying giving us the business then we're certainly enjoying taking you for a ride."
