do you mean the initial interview and Maths style questions or the ones at the Persel Selection?
The first ones you go through (as at 1997) were a maths/physics one and an attitude recognition exam.
The maths exams (there are two but I don't remember the exact differences) were mainly rate of change style questions.
the other one focused upon your ability to recognise an ircraft attitude given a certain number of illustrations showing external views of an aircraft or flight instruments.
