Where not to park your Extra

This is where not to park your Extra 300. Tom Moon hit a subi at the Avalon airshow today(saturday) right infront of us as he was taxing down the edge of the runway strip during thr F111 handling display.

Bits of the wooden prop went everywhere. The two parked on the RWS in the subi were shaken but not stirred (luckily).

Bevan..

Have to ask. What was the Subaru doing inside the gable markers? Wouldn't even consider placing my 25 yo airport car there!

It will make for some interesting reading for a clerk at the insurance company ....... "we were parked, minding our own business when all of a sudden CRUNCH. This damn pilot rams his aircraft right into us!"

You can`t see Jake Snit out the front of most Aerobatic tail-draggers. You "S" turn to clear the area if front of you, expecting to see the WINGTIPS of the AIRCRAFT in your blind spot.

I`m afraid I put this one down to the organisers for not sufficientlycontrolling the movement area.

Talking

Could the vehicle have been driven by somebody he gave "business accounting advice" to in the past?

So sad, too bad Tommy.
