In the past operators have been able to drop baits and pasture seeds from GA aircraft, such as C182s, whilst operating on AWK AOC's with pilots trained IAW CAO 29.10.

CASA is of the mind at present that CAR 2A's definition of Agricultural Operations entails baiting and pasture seeding, by this definition i would tend to agree.

Q. How can an AWK operator with CAR 157 exemption and an aircraft fitted with floor chute drop the afore mentioned, with pilots that are trained IAW CAO29.10, i feel this operation would be quite safe, it's been happening for years as such, without wasting 10K in an AG rating ??.
