applying for Oz ATC..

gidday all,

I have done a bit of a search around D+G and found that applications are handled through the selectnet website.

I was unable to find an application page. Does that mean you are unable to apply unless they are actively recruiting...??

If so, does anyone have inside ideas on when that will occur..??

thanks for your time.

Try this link, Radar. I found it after typing "selectnet" in the ASA search engine. I believe that ASA has an ongoing recruiting campaign over the next few years to cope with pending retirements.

Goodluck.

I understand that ASA opens the "recruitment window" for a limited period via the internet and unless you are checking regularly you may miss out. Try ringing the HR area of either Brisbane, Melbourne or Canberra ASA and talking to someone in the know.
For what it is worth, if you're young, fit and looking for a great start to an ATC career, consider the RAAF. I've done both sides and as a younger guy, the RAAF was great. Good luck
