Jeppesen and ForeFlight
Just received this email from Jeppesen today:
Does this mean that in addition to paying for a Jeppesen subscription come the second half of 2022 I will also have to pay for an additional subscription for ForeFlight in order to access my charts?

I just spoke to a Jepp tech support rep in the US and although he was as helpful as can be, he had no information to offer that could help, as he said it was news to them.
I see on the Foreflight website that the price of the basic plan, which includes VFR & IFR charts is $99 USD, but it only covers USA, Canada & Europe. In the Support section, it says that flight planning can be done for flights within Australia, but I can't see how it fits in.
Boeing owns both Jepp and Foreflight. The only alternative will be either Avplan or Oz Runways using ASA charts.
At least we have until the second half of 2022 to figure it out.
