It's up in OZRunways and will shortly be hitting AvPlan.

With many thanks to a keen pilot and Facebook groups moderator over in Western Australia, we have now been given permission by the Western Australian Department of Transport to use the WA coastal cameras to be added to the EFB's. Apologies for the size of the disclaimer, but it has to be there. We have just installed 2 new cameras at Bankstown, NSW.

Many thanks to the operator of these for providing this valuable resource to all aviators. I will be adding their details in due course.

We had a false start on Griffith a week or so back as one camera wasn't up and running shortly after installation.

They are both up now in 5 megapixel glory.

Adding to my earlier post about the new Bankstown cameras, there is a good news story behind them.

I am pleased to advise that they have been installed by a new company, Sydney Flight Training.

This is great to hear that amongst the doom and gloom that a new flight training company has been granted permission to operate by CASA, bucking the perceived trend that Bankstown is going downhill.

Their website is yet to be created, however I just wanted to share what I believe to be a good news story.



PS: the second camera is now active at the Lily Stirling range (link above), complete with the DC-3 in the image.

Just went looking for this specific one yesterday, the Narromine camera works if you use the URL, or tweak the URL from another, listed, camera but it's missing from the Aviation drop-down box on the website.

Thanks for the feedback. That has been fixed now.

I lose track sometimes with updating the website as there are so many coming online each week it’s hard to keep up.

Thank you, it's always good to hear positive feedback. It can get a bit relentless and repetitive at times but it's worth it in the end for everyone.
