About Southern Wings Auckland
Hello I am from HK. Wanna go to have part time flight training in Auckland in Late June.
I would like to know is it possible to have part time PPL training in southern wings Auckland? I know that this college target mainly full time student for CPL training and the headquarter of this college is located in Invercargill and the Auckland base was established in 2014. Therefore, i just want to know if they take casual student for part time flying or not.
Thanks a lot.

Not sure if Southern wings take casual students part time or not. Someone associated with them might know but i would think most of there students are full time doing the full course
Its also worth having a look at some of the flying clubs around Auckland. People often complete their training there part time and the flying rates are often cheaper than the flying schools
At Ardmore 2 clubs
Airline flying Club
airlineflyingclub
Auckland Aero Club
Auckland Aero Club - An unsurpassable training record that spans over eighty years
At North shore airfield
North Shore Aero Club

Be warned that the weather in NZ in late June is generally not very good for flying as it is winter in the southern hemisphere. Depending on how long you plan on staying there may only be a few days when you can actually fly due to weather.
Winter flying in New Zealand can be as good and in some ways better than the summer. Especially this past summer.

Looking for Flight Training in NZ
Hey guys, I'm from Singapore and I would like to do flight training in NZ. Looking to convert my ICAO CPL and do a Flight Instructor rating. So far I'm looking at Ardmore Flying School, Eagle Flight Training, and Southern Wings, however I'm open to other schools too.
My criteria:
- professional environment
- quality instructors
- opportunity to join as a flight instructor for internship (despite me being a foreigner)
If you have any reviews and info please feel free to share! Thanks!

Yeah a phone call for the sales pitch and the flashy website will tell you everything you need to know
How about a phone call with the specific questions you want answered followed up by a well worded email to get those answers in writing?

How about asking someone who has trained there to PM you on PPRuNe so you get customer feedback not management nonsense
