Medical

Hey all

Anyone know what the deal is if the regulator cancels your class 1 medical. Are you able to reapply at a later stage if ones' condition improves?

Be aware that if the DAME signs your condition off as no risk to aviation then you're likely to have a few years of a "subject to CASA approval" Class 1 medical along with a possible shortened validity of your Class 2 medical. You pretty much need the DAME to write you the same note for a few years saying that your condition doesn't affect your abilities to commit aviation before the regulator will give you a new unrestricted medical. Best of luck!
