Alice Springs
Last I heard they are still doing the same flyng as 12 months ago, but with fewer pilots.
I have been told (I don't think it's a secret) the business has very recently been sold to a Sydney-based GA group with most of the current management team to be left in place.
Under the current Chief Pilot your mate's son would get a good start into the industry with firm standards and plenty of work.

Horatio,
If the CP is the same one who has been there the last couple of years I must disagree with you.
Firm standards maybe but an inconsistent management style and a "say one thing but do another" approach makes him difficult to deal with.
I have first hand experience.
