Pilatus Sponsorship

Noticed on another website that Pilatus are sponsoring Todd Kelly at the Clipsal 500.

Mr Kelly must be upgrading from his trusty Chieftain.

It's been for sale for some time now, looks like the price has come down recently.

Pilatus is sucking up to Australia at the moment, pc9's are getting on a bit and the Rfds are getting the pc24, does anyone know how many ?

Kelly Racing could switch to racing Honda's and Todd could get a Honda Jet.

Aerodynamisist,

From what I've read: 3 PC-24's for Western Operations plus one to be based in Adelaide and another at Alice Springs.

Had a conversation with the Pilatus salesmen at the airshow, who told me "the PC12 is 'safer' than your Kingair 350". Yeh mate, I'll remember that next time I'm on the way to Lord Howe, or Tassie!

Struth Howard! I would have burst out laughing if I'd heard that.

Nearly used the classic line "surely you can't be serious"!!

Obviously he has never actually flown in a Kingair...

Bwahahahahahahaha, there's another one!

If single engine is so good, why does the PC-24 have two engines?

Because an engine pod on just one side of the aircraft will make it harder to keep in balance

An old Airline Captain was asked about his ideal aircraft:
"One where the Flight Engineer says there is an issue with the number four engine and then I ask "which wing?""
