Pax in the cockpit of an International flight
Quick question, can the tech crew allow passengers to visit the cockpit of RPT flights?
Closed charters I hear is OK, but normal every day pax airline flights ex AUS?
Cheers

Generally I think you have to be working for the airline. Then it's up to the Captain.
Although if the flight overflies US (Guam etc) airspace then only tech crew can be in the flight deck.

Nunc est bibendum
There is a bit of nuance to this.
Visit? No.
Jump seat ride for staff of the airline concerned? Depends on the destination. Flight to US? No. Most other places ex Australia? Yes.

...immediate family members, that is. Children, spouse, parents only. No 'companions', siblings or second cousins once removed. And bona fide Company employees.
Previous airline…you are The Captain, you decide who sits in the flight deck…fairly sensible really, you wouldn't be inviting the local ISIS head-bummer to join you...
