a thread about social media
Yet once again the sky will fall in if it is locked!

I hope this helps Bruce.
I hope it helps him too. You seem to have a fascination with him.

Yes, the locking of threads is interesting.

The second senate thread is now approaching 300,000 views. The first was it 600,000?

Now if casa titter about the senate inquiry they might get some followers? Rather than there is a safety briefing on wing nuts at some remote airfield. Yawn.

Maybe they should appoint lady gaga as DAS if interested in social media.

Sky Sentinel sets CASA performance measures?

There seems to be some unstable individuals posting publicly and privately around here who have emotional and personal issues, possible anxiety issues and certainly a need to be correct at all times and respected. Sorry, wrong place for those insecure needs to be fulfilled! However I am personally willing to offer those in need a big bear hug and a gentle "it will be ok" whispered in their ear.

UITA, you are correct about the CASA stats being rubbish, even pooh. What standard do they measure against? No doubt just some jolly figures picked out of thin air or off a pot plants leaf. Those who fully understand the mechanics of CASA know that these so called statistics are not based on any quantifiable industry standards, they are based upon an internally doctored system. Perhaps the $2 million dollar lemon Sky Sentinel creates these so called CASA robust performance measures? Maybe it can also track the number of social media hits and collate the data for the bearded Gibson? (And for the emotionally challenged who feel they have been left out of the playground and are being taunted by the other kids, that's not a shanty, nickname, code word or secret language, Gibson is his real name)
After all I believe that Sky Sentinel can even gauge the depth of a trough in 3D!

Biscuit, 'wing nuts'? Is Carmody back ? As for Lady Gaga she would certainly make a better DAS than the current geezer. Imagine her wearing a meat outfit while meeting with Truss and Kingcrat? A better look than a Friday afternoon Hawaiian shirt.

Heads up.

Look up "PAIN_NET" in twi**er land,
Sorry Frank. We have no authorised presence on any social media and hold no account with Farce Book, Twit anymouse etc. Further to this, it has been brought to our attention that certain people are purporting to represent PAIN. To make it absolutely clear PAIN does not contact political or prominent figures, representatives of government departments or private individuals apart from in a written format, the document duly authorised by the editors.

P1. a.k.a. P1.

And the guest of dishonour is.........

CASA and their social media appearances might be as exciting and as useful as a prison induction party, but they have no problem getting their message out at conferences?
This is just some of what the Doc has been doing in the past 12 months. No wonder they don't have time to complete the important things like regulatory reform? Strange, I didn't notice attendance or guest speaking roles at any AOPA conference?

casa and it's misuse of power

Well caught 337.

As you remark, no address to the "troops".

I guess if they do go there, such as at the AMROBA meeting in Queensland, there will be difficult questions to ask.

Not nice when a Senator sees you treat people with contempt Mr. casa!!

It's always easy when you run the "seminar" such as the "safety briefings" and say:

You should refer that to Head office

OR

That's not in our brief - move on

It's too early to go digging about through Hansard, but wasn't there an awkward passage of play (Pel Air or Estimates) where some tricky questions were asked of McComic about this piece of home made wizardry. Is it too much to expect the questions to continue in the future? Because someone should closely examine this and other 'computer' transactions, just to make sure it's all according to Hoyle. We have enough home grown heads crammed into the through; inviting friends and relatives from other farms over for a feed is simply Mickey Bliss...
