Job scene for A320 rated F/O's

You mentioned an Aussie ATPL the assumption from that is that if you wanted to come to NZ you would be looking for a NZ ATPL. Unfortunately you don't qualify for a NZ ATPL in fact I'm not sure you even qualify for a NZ CPL.

No, I think it only 20 hours P in C, if I it read it correctly, it was 70 hours total. Basically only the P in C requirements for a PPL
But going back to my original post, I never asked if I could qualify for an ATPL.

I guess your P1/US time could be taken as ICUS, but if you only did 70 hours PIC time in your initial training, that leaves you 30 hours short.
Basically you would be better off doing your upgrade with which ever airline you did your MPL for. Once you have a couple of thousand hours in the left seat look at moving on, licence conversion will be far less problematic then.
Don't just restrict your sights to Australia, Asia and the Middle East is where the growth is. No shortage of A320 Captains with 3500 TOTAL time over here.

Ring Jetstar recruitment and have a chat and explain your situation. That's probably your best avenue.
You are on my hero list - did you get that job yet? You must have . I wish you well.
If not yet (and I would be most surprised) then walk round the airlines - phone them up, ask to pop in for a coffee as you are in the area.
Choose airlines that are hiring, obviously.

That little gem has been argued many times on here, search to read it all.
In a nutshell it is only CASA that has that ICUS definition, the rest of the world does not.

The biggest scam in aviation.
You are either the Pilot In Command, logging Command time.
Or a First/Second Officer, logging Co Pilot Time.
In practical terms, there is no such thing as being In Command Under Supervision!
Under supervision of who? The Commander!
It's ego stroking, and nothing more!

What about line training Fathom?
And what does someone who's undergoing a Command upgrade log?

re Morno's comment..
When I moved out of the RH seat of the DC9 onto the F27 for my command training it was done in the LH seat and logged as Dual Instruction.
