The Home of Photos in Dunnunda! Mk II
Thanks Bloggsy, yeah though I must admit the F-35A has grown on me after catching them in the low flying areas, the B looks awful. The F-22 which was not at this show has some good angles but looks really off from others.

Hi Folks, be on the lookout for the birdies nesting habits, it springtime again in Victoria.
Found today at an aerodrome just outside of Melbourne:

Imagine taking off with that bunch of dry grass in the cowling??

Around this time last year I found both engine cowlings in our Seneca filled with birds nests, one of which contained several freshly hatched inhabitants. Nothing visible at all from outside even when looking up through the cowl flaps or through the oil flap, was only because it hadn't run for a while and I'd seen a couple of birds darting around the outside of the cowlings I bothered to take them off to check. It's easy enough to cut a couple of bungs out of foam too, worth the effort.

G'day All,
Now the story of these photos is interesting - one of my tenants - in his 70's has a mum that's 98 years old & he was around her house several weeks ago & they were looking at old photo albums she keeps.
Now a little history of Betty - she was a nurse in WW II and these photos she took just after war's end at Morati (incidently she married a member of Z Force) - there are 8 in total taken at the airstrip there & some are very interesting e.g. a photo of a Zero(I think) with the Australian roundel (never seen one like that before).
