Pinky, you should try Panorama mode on your phone. You do have a camera in your phone, don't you?!

My friend George Cannon used to fly for Sepik Airways. He has passed away now. He had similar photos in PNG when they were shifting around amazing loads from dredges to cars and trucks, stuffed into the back of those Fokkers. Thanks for sharing.

Mammatus clouds are pouch-like cloud structures. They're also a rare example of clouds in sinking air-- most clouds form in rising air. Although mammatus most frequently form on the underside of a cumulonimbus, they can develop underneath cirrocumulus, altostratus, altocumulus and stratocumulus.

And, according to BOM, while they might look pretty dramatic and often appear around the same time as severe storms, mammatus clouds themselves are perfectly harmless.
Yeh right.

GRAND PRIX

Some good vision from the Hornet doing its stuff over the Grand Prix circuit. I was impressed with how the go pro hung on.
The C17 appeared pretty low over the crowd.

Our thankless Pilots and Paramedics going about their jobs in all hours in all weather. Barely a night would go past where you open up your EFB and not see them trundling across the sky.

I WAS LOOKING THROUGH SOME OF DAD'S SLIDES TODAY AND COME ACROSS THESE:

VH-ANJ 1/4/65 WARRNAMBOOL

Note the stick with a hand on the end attached to driver door.
