Why would you want to land crosswind in an amphib.????
However, glorious pics always, thanks.

Hey UL, that would be this plane....with a cheeky and infamous girl with a pole strapped to her back.

You may well be right - I've think I've only twice had the privilege of hearing more than one in the sky at the same time (Spitfire + Hurricane at Wanaka a while ago now, and more recently 2 x Spitfires at Temora), much less two (or four) in the same airframe.
Somehow I still lean towards the crispness and purity of 12 synchronised exhaust stacks as a solo instrument, however a duet will still be worth an ear to the sky
Thanks for the pic of the duo Mustang BTW. I'll read up on it - be interested to know who's the PIC.

I beg to differ..... how about 2 Merlins

I see your two Merlins and raise you five Merlins, at Wings Over Wairarapa recently! (now wait until someone posts a photo of one of those mass warbird fly-pasts from a Northern Hemisphere airshow!
)

This sounded pretty good too:

XXX, you need to read my post a bit more carefully as someone worked it out easily enough.

Nice looking C185 I saw today.
I wonder if the owner would take $50K for her?
Could do with a clean up inside, looks like the inside of a game box

Owner must love her though
