Great Pics

LJM (A17-561) is in my Dad's logbook from Dec 1941 when he was learning to fly at Mascot as part of EATS. Good to see it still in the air.

LJM is still working hard earning her keep. Most days you will find her down at Point Cook conducting joyflights.

Great to hear. I just checked Dad's logbook and it was actually T5-561 which I think is a RAF S/N.

Taken today in the Pakenham area, east of Melbourne @ 5:30pm.

Interestingly, nothing showed up for me on webtrack.

Oh and now I've just read that the ATC tower had to be evacuated at 5pm due to smoke. Now my pic makes sense

Webtrack doesn't extend that far.
They do show on Flightradar24 in the Drouin area.

I see that your reporting standards down there are as bad as up here...

"The US military has employed the services of two Osprey's and two Sea King helicopters to transport President Barack Obama and his staff during the G20 summit. Both aircrafts come in pairs in case of a malfunction."

I see three Ospreys there, is that 1-1/2 pairs???
