Great if you know what all the codes are in letter format for the flight plans. I can see this causing a great deal of confusion.

Geez Griff.....do you need me to visit and spoon feed you too?

NAIPS-Internet-Service-User-Documentation.pdf

NAIPS-Internet-Service-Getting-Started-Guide.pdf

AIP ENR 1.10 Appendix 2 has all the flight plan contents spelled out as well...

...and I believe that if you hover the cursor over fields....

Ah very good. I stand corrected, although it won't help on some mobile browsers.

After about 5 minutes of sitting there doing nothing it eventually let me on. Only to hang for another 5 minutes attempting to get an area briefing. After sitting through both of those waits it sped up considerably.

You are able to change the password after you've logged in.

Works on the iPad no worries. Seems to be quicker than the old site. The ability to rotate the charts on the screen is a great idea. (unless it's been a feature before and I missed it)

Logged on OK. In IE 8/Windows, the username is automatically converted to upper case, even if caps lock is off.

On my phone (Nexus S wi Gingerbread and Firefox Beta), the username goes in in lower case (as one would expect if the caps lock is off!) and NAIPS wouldn't accept the logon. So it appears that the username is case sensitive.

The quality of PDFs of the briefings are much worse than the "old" AsA website.

Hey Cynical,

I guess that you would be using http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/...5-Nov-2012.pdf

or the location directory

to find those pesky codes huh?

BTW did you actually try entering full location names instead of codes?
