So my estimate seems so implausable and laughable, yet on the 13th Dec its a post of overloaded with 400+ cvs, and on the 14th people are getting emails. Cough.
Don't forget its not from CV straight to interview like other jobs, there is the filtering tests inbetween.

Is there a fee for the sim ride?
Is there a holding pool?
Do you get a guaranteed job offer at the end or a wait and see, if you have a rating? (or after you get one)

All I can say is, you "experienced" guys must be desperate to get home.

Presumably (by the tone of your posts), high time command experience on the Bus, and yet even at this stage of your careers, willing to stump up to some third party just for the priv of an interview, And even that's not garrenteed!

Although, nice little earner. For some!

Supply and demand. If management see 500 CV's of people willing to work for peanuts, they'll pay peanuts.

About 125k.

20k bonus for every 3 years with the company.

Capt will do in excess of 200k now. With a 30k bonus every 3 years also.

Grrr 285$?

Got one of these mails too. It says ~ $75 for the assessment. But I'm reading reports here for $285 -- does this mean each round costs $s?

I'm not prepared to pay even the $75 for the initial assessment to begin with - anyone here done the 2 assessments yet (From my understanding of their email)?

It will be a token effort if you do it, but I have also thanked them for the interview... not paying to get a job when Im already qualified and experienced.

Good luck fellas!

In the application form, it does say that the test is at a cost to yourself. So why waste their time, by applying if you're not happy to pay for it?

It seems like they're "interviewing" anyone who meets the mins (and lets face it, aren't that high!)

I know guys who received the email for the Online Assessment who have no Multi-crew time, let alone Jet/A320 time.

Good little cash cow for them.

Hey papajoe, is that accurate on the salary? I'm also guessing the endorsement has to be done by 'their' provider. Alas there's money to be made in the Rating as well. Turn that screw one more time

That’s disgusting!!!!
But the wheel keeps turning.
I remember guys from Jetstar, Cobham, Rex , and some others sitting in South Africa begging for crew. Lucky everybody is desperate there. Then the financial crisis hit in 2008 and the shoe was on the other side. In America the smaller regionals are already paying sign on bonuses. Asia will be expanding next year. Cobham is already advertising for Captains again.
Hang in there guys – as I said – the wheel keeps on turning!!!!!
Or am I just an over positive guy ????

Unhappy

They charged me $72.60 for part 1 of the assessment. I can only assume that they will be further cost for part 2...
