Cobham Special Mission and FWA

Apparently FWA have approved Cobham Special Missions crews for Protected Industrial Action. What's going on, are our borders going to be unprotected?

That's ok they will probably get locked out, and citing National interest all industrial action will be suspended. The new employer tactic of choice!

The borders have never been protected. People have been entering the country sight unseen for 40-60,000 years.

Why the disharmony? Is the Irishman up to all his tricks that he learned up North?

I'm not sure why the disharmony as I don't work there anymore, but I would have thought they would have learned from years past that if they proactively keep the workforce happy and motivated they won't have to go into absolute panic mode when everyone takes the first opportunity to leave and be forced into spending gazillions of dollars in retention bonuses and pay increases just to avoid defaulting on the Coastwatch contract. A little bit upfront will save bucket loads down the track.

Well apparently the ballot papers are in the mail so I hear.... Let's see if they've learnt their lessons from last time. Surprised it's not in the news at the moment considering the amount of new Australians that arrived on the weekend.

If Cobhams are on strike, it will be a good chance for Jetstar to recruit..
