737 HKG

Last Sat night, 21st, I saw a QF 737 taking off from HKG around midnight, anyone know what it was doing here, I thought the big one was suppose to be coming? I knew the 330s were having some speed tape applied here at one stage but didn't know about any of the others???

yeap that would be right... friends of mine in darwin were talking about these flights being advertised around christmas time. I think QF are testing the water as there has been a lot of lobbying from the NT community to get this route happening.

Who pays for the 'testing the water' flights?

Mainline and then because QF do not grow their route structure, hand it over to JQ
