Old Warbirds Once at Blacktown (nsw)
Does anyone remember what the old planes were in a park at blacktown ? I remember going there in the late '50's. Looking at google maps I'd say it was somewhere on Kildare rd, not far from the railway lines. You could jump up in the cockpit a play with the controls. All good fun for a young fella!

Not thinking of the old Air League site before the fence went up. Think it had a Vampire then.or a Gannett. The other site was further west but called an apprentice training school at Schofields.

Catalina in Katoomba
A friend of mine grew up in Katoomba in the 1950's. She remembers playing at "Catalina Park" - a lake with a cat parked there. Does the catalina still reside there or does anyone know what happened to it?
