Work experience in Nth QLD

I've got a 17 year old cousin in Townsville who has caught the aviation bug. My aunt emailed me today asking me about work experience for him. Does anybody still do this? and if so does anybody know where he might be able to do a week of work experience? Townsville or Cairns would suit.

Just found out that my aunt has got my cousin a weeks work experience with Westwing based out of Mt. Isa.
