The official Avalon Airshow Thread
I don't know if the A380 would get into Avalon or not (anybody know?).
From another site
Please don't rely on a QF airplane being available for travel to Avalon, either as a staff member or as a member of the public via a Charity (ie Pathfinders).
Given the security requirements for passenger screening (which has to be done by hand thus a very long boarding time in the static display park) and the limited parking positions available to accommodate an A380 or B744 (thus necessarily blocking other display aircraft whilst boarding), it is likely to go empty based on issues over previous years.
These decisions are usually made very late depending on the commercial requirement close to the event and the ultimate availability of parking once all participants are confirmed.

3. They have already sold all the aircraft they are going to sell in this country...
While fun for us aviation tragics, the prime reason for an airshow is to SELL AIRCRAFT!

Qantas brought A380 VH-OQA into Avalon for a while last airshow. It was there on one day only from about 1000 until about 1500. I suspect it had real work to do before and after those times.
Though, I will be at the coming avalon

I've read about the arrestor cable being there for other years as well, though never seen it. Im guessing it must be there just incase of an emergency? can anyone confirm?
Good to see the f22 on its way down. Also can we really expect a b2?

There seems to be some typos in the list,
USAF KC30 - KC10?
USAF B1 - B1B ?
RNZAF B-75 - B757?
Falcon 2000XL - Falcon 2000LX?
I would say Sings Af has another aircraft to bring down ?
Jetstar/Qantas should have something on static for one or two different days something from the Virgin Group too

The RAAF Rhino will be doing a full handling display at Avalon for the first time.
The B-2 will only be a flyby ex-Guam and will not land, a la the B-52 in past years.
Two F-22s are planned to be at Avalon, also ex-Guam - one static and one flying a handling display. The flyer will probably come out of another base.
It doesn't say USAF KC-30, it says foreign military aircraft KC-30, i.e. it will be in RAAF colours but as it won't have been handed over yet, it will flown to/from Avalon by Airbus crews.
