A new Minister for Aviation appointed

We have a new Minister for Aviation- but for Victoria not Australia.
Mr Gordon Rich-Phillips MLC was this afternoon appointed Minister responsible for the Aviation Industry in the new Bailleu government.

At least he has some experience for the job-early on in his career he was a fueller at Berwick and holds a CPL with MECIR, and has a Cessna 172 based in the Melbourne area.

How long is it since any Minister of any colour had "Aviation" even remotely in his title?
