I guess CASA will be looking closely at any Chieftains turning up after having seen the Ad in this forum.

Uh-oh, who called the lawyers?

7(A) is to allow cost sharing, and doesn't apply in this instance.
So you're selling seats on a private flight is that it?

Ok I'm interested, please advise name of pilot in command and who do I make the cheque out to?
Who's AOC are you using?
Will this be an e-ticket or paper ticket?

Damn no wonder aviation is going backward . Before the CASA even has a chance to say anything his mates bible bash RW with mob style justice .

Watch out for the policatial correct crowd , the regulator , random alcohol/drug tests , internal exams , ASIC checks and the vigilante ppruners mob when your in Birdsville RW

God forbid you enjoy your trip with mates

I don't reckon there's too much bible bashing going on here, ignorance (or feigning it) is no defence if you find yourself in court!

Personally don't have a problem with a fella grabbing a Cheiftain and taking 9 mates out to Birdsville. Went through a lot of organisation to do it myself, even had the use of an AOC but got let down at the last minute by a couple of tight arsed wankas that spoilt it for the serious 4 blokes who'd committed.

There are some mind numbingly stupid rules in this industry, who is going to change them and how? Stuffed if I know, better men than I have banged their heads against a brick wall for years

Stuffed if I'd be breaking stupid rules to make a point with an authority that you WILL NOT win against though.

Hey, maybe CASA should delegate the responsibility for anything up to 5700 and 12 seats or so to RAA.

That'll fix up GA....

What an incredibly wasteful and regressive system we are forced to tolerate.

Wow, what a ruckus. Who'd have thunk it?

I suppose I'm grateful to you all for keeping my thread at the top of the board.

Not that I'm paranoid... but maybe I should clarify a few things.

At the moment I have myself and three pax. Two more would be ideal. By the time you stuff six people, bags and swags in a chieftain there ain't that much spare space. Trust me, I do it a fair bit.

If CASA wants to argue that this thread is some sort of ernest attempt by me to announce the flight publicly, then they can see me (the lawyer) in court.

Goodness me.
