VH-MMF is nearly ready to fly again first time since 1977. Following full restoration at Bankstown.

Both Air Tasmania (Ansett colours) and MM Airlines paint were still on it when it was paint stripped a couple years back. It is now in green warbird colours..

HC, did you manage to grab any photos of the stripping process. MMD at the museum still has MMA etched into the fuselage.

Another superb model cac.

The late Terry Burns(founder and CP of Airtasmania) would be suitably impressed.

When did they stop operating the DC-3?

CAC-Sabre - i am guessing that you have completed these models?Wwhat are the chances of getting a few done? Got a couple of aviation stalwarts in the family who i would love to give gifts to.

The Air North and Air Tas models were built for others.. DC-3s are no problem if you can wat a bit..others well we'll see what you want

I have 1 DC-3 and 1 DC-3/C47 large scale model not made sitting idle in my shed at the moment if someone wants to buy them and get some different livery's applied.
